Diane Chambers believes that all people deserve to have the opportunity to experience the joy of dance. After being approached by a parent of a child with a disability, she agreed to take that child under her wing. The collaboration was so successful that she opened her studio to others with disabilities, creating the Miracle Dancers. Over the years, the dance troop has grown and Diane now has two teams of Miracle Dancers, a junior group and a senior team with both able-bodied and disabled dancers performing together. Her dances are integrated and inventive. The Miracle Dancers perform for “The Crusade for Children” and other venues. The Diane Moore dancers have been dancing during the Ms. Wheelchair Kentucky pageants for 10 years where they ‘Wow’ our families and audiences. We are so proud and grateful to Diane Moore’s dancers for sharing the joy of dance with all of us.
